YouTube adds Comment Sticker for Shorts and Insights related to Channel Recommendations

YouTube is working on adding new prompts and new insights to its platform. It is planning to add a new comment sticker for the Shorts clip.

It is looking to provide channel managers with more insight into why their clips are recommended.

The new sticker will enable creators to use video comments as a more direct prompt for future shorts clips.

• YouTube is also expanding its Google Maps display links on videos that mention a location.

• Further, it is also running a new experiment that will provide creators with more context as to how their content is being recommended by YouTube’s algorithms (or not).

• Lastly, it is also adding the ability to edit a channel name, banner, avatar, and description to YouTube Studio on mobile.
