USA Citizens get Access to YouTube Shorts from March 2021

YouTube shorts are all set to roll out in the USA in the coming month. YouTube shorts is a short-form video format that allows users to create up to 15 seconds or fewer videos.

The testing of the Shorts feature began in September 2020. Looking at the response and the usage of the feature, YouTube witnessed high growth.

As per YouTube, the daily views on YouTube shorts crossed 3.5 billion. YouTube shorts allows users to do the following :

- Upload 15 seconds video
- Edit with different tools
- Add music
- Fast forward or slow down videos

From this month, YouTube's homepage in the USA will witness a carousel from where Shorts can be accessed. The shorts feature will create ample opportunities for creators to increase the level of engagement.
