WhatsApp has introduced a new Shopping button within the chats. The Shopping button will help to streamline purchases and transactions. Users will be able to easily buy from their favourite business through the new shopping button.

The Shopping button will provide users with in-app product listing containing a range of items, and it can be easily purchased, as well. The new button bears similarity to the options available on Instagram and Facebook.

WhatsApp, with its latest move, aims to broaden eCommerce in India. It could be a good opportunity for WhatsApp since last week the platform also received the nod for going forward with WhatsApp pay.

The new shopping button will create immense opportunities for brands within the app.
