Google to bring New Changes to the Top Stories Carousel

Google is all about bringing in a set of new changes to the Top Stories carousel in search results. The latest changes will start to roll out from mid-June.

The new Page Experience update will no longer require the inclusion of AMP in Top Stories. Moreover, the AMP icon will vanish, and the swiping interaction will no longer be a part of the AMP viewer.

Currently, the pages built using AMP HTML were part of this section. But with the upcoming changes, these limited spots will become more and more competitive.

To stay competitive, focus on the following three tips :

- Maintain good scores related to Core Web Vital and Page Experience
- Adhere to Google's guidelines
