Google Considers Same Content in Different Formats to be Different
Google has a different approach when it comes to considering duplicate content on the platform. John Mueller, states published content that comes in various formats like a video, or a blog post does not deem to be duplicate content.
Further, Mueller claims that Google cannot do a text analysis of videos. For instance, a video that contains the same content as mentioned in a blog post will be considered different pieces of content.
Google follows this format since different people prefer different ways to search. Some might find it easy to read an article while others might prefer watching a video.
Additionally, Mueller also states that repurposing the blog posts into videos will in no way affect the ranking in Google.
