Instagram Might Do Away With The Likes Count Feature

Instagram might seem to be doing away with the showing up number of likes on a certain post. It has claimed the feature is causing great effect on people's mental health.

It is already seen to be testing an alternative to this in Australia and Japan.

Instagram is focused on removing the pressure on users. Instagram has been working on trial basis wherein users will now only be able to a user name and 'others' below posts.

People usually get a moral boost with higher number of likes and if the number of likes seem to drop it tends to create mental pressure on the users.

Instagram had earlier launched this test in Canada.
