Google Joins Hands with SG partners for Digital Job Placements
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many organisations are now seen to shift their focus towards digital platforms. One of the most popular platforms, Google has taken certain steps in this regard.
Google seems to have launched a digital marketing related program. The program is named as 'Skills Ignition SG'. The program is in collaboration with Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). The program is basically focused on enhancing your skills.
The market is today's time is challenging, so this program would definitely add into your skillset. With this new initiative, Google is all set to offer 100 job placements at its Singapore office. Some other companies including Trip.com, Dentsu Aegis Network, Sephora, Publicis, and Omnicom Media Group will also offer job placements.
Currently, two programs are being offered under the Skills Ignition SG. The program is spread across the duration of nine months and will include around 600 applicants. The program will include the following aspects :
- Online live instructor-led training
- Self-paced online study
- Group and individual project work
Seeing the current lockdown imposed, the need for digitisation is ever increasing. Therefore, this is the right time to invest in some sort of digital program. Globally, many jobs have been impacted. In order to help people get jobs, this program will aid them.
After the successful completion of the program, the students will then be provided with job placements as well. It will basically help them in boosting their career and taking it one step ahead.
This initiative by Google will provide job opportunities to around 3000 fresh graduates and individuals who have already started with their careers.
