Google Updates Search Results related to "Deals" Queries

Google has enhanced search results related to deals. It is also working to add a dedicated feed related to discounted products in the Shopping tab. A new set of search results will now be displayed when people look for deals.

Users can access the new feed any time from the Shopping tab without a specific query. Products showcasing a 'deals' badge will be eligible to appear on the feed.

The update will also provide merchants with a new way to measure the performance of deals. Performance can be judged through impressions, clicks, and click-through rate. They can find out which of the products qualify for a deals badge in the product tab with Google Merchant Center. All the promotions, sales, and price drops will be showcased in the news feed.

Google will highlight the product based on the attractiveness of the offer and the discount. The upcoming updates will roll out from the next month.
